Our strategies include

  • aligning our sport with communities needs and issues.
  • Running new programs for specific community groups.
  • Train the trainer programs.
  • Work with other organisations to form alliances.
  • Targets disadvantaged groups and communities.
  • Encourage new participants in metropolitan and regional areas.
  • Improve health through Eight Ball
  • Developing Policies

Pool Victoria is currently working with the Ballarat & District Aboriginal Co-op. and we have run several successful Eight Ball sessions with the young people from the Co-op.

We have also run a successful session with the Accademy of Sport Health and Education in Shepparton, with coaching and a round robin event.

We are currently working with the South Eastern Migrant Resource Centre and are in the planning stages of a great program to be run in the Dandenong area.
